Get answers to common questions about Red Light Facial + Peel.

You should feel minimal discomfort—most clients report mild tingling during the peel and no pain with red light. Treatments are relaxing, and oxygen is soothing. Any brief redness typically subsides within hours with little to no recovery time.

Most skin types benefit from this facial including oily, combination, and dry skins when customized. Not ideal for open wounds, recent laser, or active severe acne. We perform a consultation to tailor peel strength and ensure safe, effective care.

Many clients notice immediate brightness and softer texture after one session, but a series yields best results. We recommend four to six treatments spaced weekly or biweekly, then monthly maintenance to sustain collagen stimulation and long-term improvement.

Expect mild redness, sensitivity, or light peeling for 24–72 hours depending on peel strength. Most return to normal activities same day. Follow aftercare to minimize flaking and protect skin; severe reactions are rare and managed promptly.

Avoid retinoids, harsh exfoliants, and prolonged sun exposure for at least one week before treatment. Afterward, use gentle cleansers, broad-spectrum SPF, and hydrating serums. Skip heavy cosmetics for 24 hours and follow clinic guidance for optimal healing and results.

Disclose medications and medical history during consultation. Avoid treatment if on isotretinoin within six months, have photosensitive conditions, active infections, or pregnancy concerns. We can adapt or defer therapy and recommend safe alternatives when necessary.
